[Untraceable, Identity Encrypted]

Look at all of these joyous cries of encouragement.

How sweet.

How endearing.

How utterly pointless.

You foolish, ignorant people think it's so simple, do you?

You peons are lucky to even be graced with our presence.

Heh. Go ahead. Pump your fists in the air, shout to the heavens.

It matters not.

I'm sorry...what was the point of this again?

If you're expecting us to bow down and worship and serve you, just because you have powers that most of us we don't, you're just setting yourself up for a huge disappointment.

Oh, no point, no point.

No more point than Daimon's tirade, or those encouraging him, really.

They're all just words, one way or another.

It's actions that truly matter.

What I expect, though... hm. No, no, I think such things - the bowing and the worshiping and what have you - are just... far too simple.

Something much more... substantial is needed, I think.

If it's actions that matter, why are you hiding behind words then? Why don't you prove your point and show yourself, rather than hiding behind anonymity? If you're a threat to us, make yourself known. You can do no worse than the Demon Lords or Kurata and his bunch have. You're really doing nothing more than making a hypocrite of yourself.

Oh please, enlighten me with your definition of "substantial".

Yes, let me reveal myself, put myself on a pedestal so that I can be struck down in short order by the collective force of everyone I oppose.

I said actions matter, and that is quite true. Just because I speak as I do now, doesn't mean those actions are not happening.

"Substantial" is... really, beyond such trivial things. Really, it's more of a personal stake. What is substantial to me may not be to yourself. Everyone has their own definition of what that could mean to them.

For me?

It's going towards precisely the right path.

Well, it'd certainly make things easier for us in the long run. One less irritant to worry about.

Because that's all you are for now. An irritant.

Of course, lets make things easier for you.

Heh.

Irritant, you say?

I suppose that sounds about right, for the time being.

Yes, lets go with that.

Words are the beginning of something to happen.

And if it's a presence like you gracing us, I don't think we're lucky at all.

Don't even know who you are, but the arrogance is usually a bad thing.

Really, I've been told my pride is one of my stronger features.

The sad thing about pride is it can turn to egomania. I think the only people who COULD like the pride of an egomaniac are ones with the same egomania.

Heh.

Is that so.

What an interesting assessment...

Well, as anyone made that comment who wasn't in the delusion of the egomania?

It's really the honest truth, though. I've truly received that compliment.

It looks like the stick up your ass has a stick up its ass.

More like a tree. A pine tree.

With a bird's nest.

Don't forget the pinecones!

Thank you. We've spent many long hours practicing our sarcasm. Have to get up twice as early as everyone else just to get those hours in.

With someone not of the same opinion.

Well, I suppose it could have been a lull where it wasn't so...extreme as it is right now.

Oh go shove it up what passes for your ass, if it can fit with your head already stuck up there.

Meh, don't really see the need to. Kinda pointless when the enemy has both a God complex and the foresight of George Custer.
